I am a creative Learning & Development professional with more than 20 years of experience solving L&D challenges for individual contributors, managers and leaders in environments ranging from early-stage startup to global enterprise scale.

About Me

Training, learning, and development are, in my opinion, critically-important — and, often, overlooked — elements of any company’s success. I’ve spent my career trying (if not always succeeding) to design, build and implement meaningful learning and development experiences which increase learner knowledge, understanding and skill, all in the service of helping companies meet — and hopefully, exceed — their bottom line.

A former mentor of mine once called me a Swiss Army knife, because I love to learn new skills and challenge myself to always find new ways of working, and improve on my existing methods. As you’d expect from someone with my resume, I’ve designed training courses, facilitated classroom and web-based training sessions, and administered learning management systems. But I’ve also built performance review applications, designed dozens of websites and knowledge bases, and have always tried to exceed my employer’s expectations, whenever possible.

I’ve spent several years consulting and contracting, and while I enjoy the challenge of limited-time projects, I’m ultimately hoping to find a more permanent home where all of my skills can be brought to bear in service of continual business improvement and learner engagement.
